Very clean and comfortable. The hosts are super nice and hospitable. Guests have full access to the kitchen. Host Murray cooks up a great breakfast. It's fun to have conversations with other guests from all over the world. Bannockland Inn is the best place ever.
We enjoyed staying here and will whenever we are passing through Fort Simpson again. Clean, well maintained rooms, with a very comfortable bed. Great kitchen if you want to make your own food. Very quiet and peaceful setting.
I could sit on the deck over the river all day. This is an excellent place to stay. Each room has its own bathroom and the kitchen is great!
Loved my stay in this beautiful home. It's a few minutes outside the town of Fort Simpson but the property sits on the Liard River, and it has amazing views. The place is quiet, the rooms are clean and Murray, the host, truly makes you feel at home.
This place is located minutes away from Fort Simpson. There are many rooms for rent. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, nice dining table, and the stove is unreal (if you like cooking). The view from the dining and deck is very pleasant and relaxing. This place is not for party people but for guests that want to be sharing space with others. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful making this inn a better place. Definitely a great place to start your trip on a nearby river or simply to enjoy the peaceful nature.
Such a beautiful place to stay. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. The place is very clean and the beds are comfortable to sleep in. It was a great place to rest after 12 days on the Nahanni river. Even though it was a short stay it felt like a second home. I hope to come back some day.

Wonderful place to stay. Kind and generous hosts. Rooms are big. Beds are very comfy. Bathrooms spotless. Coffee is fresh brewed and there is cream in the fridge. Amazing view of the river right from the table. Doesn’t get much better than this.
